Just saw your story on fb, Gideon! I love what you are doing 😊 I am also glad you bring attention to dogs who need homes!
I work with a wonderful program in our small city Library, Newbugh Free LibrsrL in Newburgh, NY that uses Therapy Dogs in reading with school - aged children to develop confidence in their reading skills. We have over 14 Certified/Licensed Therapy Dog/ Handler Teams in all. Tuesday evenings we have , every week 2 different teams at our Town Branch at the Newburgh Mall and 2teams once a month on a Saturday at our Main location. I am loving your heart in what you are doing! If you ever ate curocur about meeting aprox 7 dog teams at once, you are welcome to come and meet these terrific dogs at our Summer Program- Libraries Rock- kickoff at the Newbugh Mall on June 23rd from 1-3 pm!! We hope to get lots of families to join us and visit these pups and their handler's! God Bless, Gideon🤗

What a great summer library program! I love reading and I love dogs. My library's summer reading program is about to start, but I don't think they have dogs.
