Hi, Gideon! I have a toy poodle named Buddy. It was Jan.'09, I was at the Humane Society here in Memphis turning in a Rottie that was lost and his eyes had infection so they accepted him, & I was doing the paperwork. The clerk had a tiny ball of fur wrapped
in his lap & asked if I wanted to adopt him. Naw, I said, I'm a cat person. So, he kept on, telling me I could just foster him, til he got healthy as he only weighed 3 lbs., he needed some weight on him in order to be neutered. So he went on, telling me they would foot the bill, food, microchip, vaccinations, if I would just babysit him for a while it would really help him. Well, do I have to tell you the rest of the story? I didn't think so! We've had Buddy since that day, 9 years ago and he is the cutest thing! Because his owners just put him out or he got out, his hair was all matted, his left rear leg was stuck in a bent position; it's called "luxated". He has also had surgery on his FRONT left leg and the doctor put a pin in it.
But he walks and runs fine. I'm going to see if can put his picture on here. You keep up the petting and loving; the dogs and cats all need as much as loving as they can get, lots of people are so mean to animals. Well, I don't know how to upload pictures. Sorry!
Thanks a lot! Thanks for telling me the story of your pup, Buddy!
